Spring Fever: Breck’s Got It Bad [VIDEO]

Carrying on with Breck’s amazing events, the next thing to look forward to if you’re joining us at Lodge by The Blue in March or April is Spring Fever.

There’s no better way to end the winter ski season than with Breckenridge Ski Resort’s annual “Spring Fever” month-long festival. The jam-packed event will feature ski competitions, bands, beer and parties from March 18 through April 17.

On the slopes will be some of the toughest on-mountain competitions in Colorado.

  • GoPro Big Mountain Challenge Youth Freestyle Event
    March 18 (qualifications) – March 20, 2016 (Finals), 10 a.m. on Peak 6
  • Mountain Dew Park Competition All New Contest
    April 2 all day on Park Lane, Peak 8
  • Breck Ascent Series Final Race
    April 13, 5:30 p.m. race start on Peak 7 base area

  • The Imperial Challenge Pseudo-Triathlon
    April 23, 2016, Runners start at 9:15 a.m., cyclists start at 10 a.m. at Rec Center and Peak 8 base
  • Ski School vs. Ski Patrol Fever Battle Charity Hockey Game
    Date TBD, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena

Spring Fever is also time to party and unwind! Here’s what to look for:

  • Breckenridge Spring Fever Beer Festival
    April 9, 2016
    This premiere Breckenridge event brings more than 35 breweries for tastings, free live music, a VIP area, wonderful food, and retail vendors.
  • Fever Reliever Main Street Merchant Discounts
    March 18-April 17, Ridge Street, Downtown
    The Breckenridge Retail Merchants will hold their annual “Fever Reliever” shopping special! Guests and locals are encouraged to shop Main and Ridge Street Merchants and ask for the “Fever Reliever” discounts at participating merchants.
  • Breck Chili Cook Off
    Dates: April 3, Base of Peak 7 (Sevens)
    Sevens Restaurant is going to get heated as the top chefs from Breckenridge Ski Resort and Breck Hospitality face off against each other to see whose chili recipe is the best.
  • Bud Light Concert Series
    Dates vary, concerts start at 3 p.m.
    This music extravaganza is three concert days of big-name acts on the mountain. All concerts are free and take place on a specially-constructed stage at the base of Peak 8.

Spring Fever has something fun for everyone, and a there’s a whole month to enjoy it.
