Closing Day is Near but Summer is Just Ahead in Breckenridge

The official closing day of ski season in Breckenridge this year is April 22, and it’s time to say goodbye to another awesome winter season at Lodge by The Blue.

Here is some important information on closings courtesy of Breckenridge.com.

Beginning Monday, April 16…

For the final week of the season, Breckenridge will offer approximately 1,000 acres of skiing and riding for all ability levels. The majority of open terrain will be located on Peak 8 and accessed by the following lifts:

Quicksilver SuperChair

Peak 8 SuperConnect

Colorado SuperChair

Rocky Mountain SuperChair

Imperial Express SuperChair

6-Chair

T-Bar

Rip’s Ride

Terrain on Peaks 6, 7, 9 (except the Silverthorne trail and Lower Sawmill) and 10 will be closed for the season.

The Overlook, TenMile Station and Pioneer Crossing buildings will be closed for the season.

The Vista Haus, The Maggie, Sevens, Ski Hill Grill and TBar will remain open for food and beverage service through closing day (Sunday, April 22).

Goodbye Winter, Hello Summer!

The warmer season offers just as much to do in Breck! Here are some things we’re looking forward to.

Closing Day and Breck Plunge – April 22

Celebrate the end to an amazing 2017-2018 ski and snowboard season. The Breck Plunge pond skim event will help close out the season with a splash. Join the fun at the base of Peak 8 with live music, food, drinks and great people.
