During your stay at Lodge by The Blue, it’s easy to get wrapped up in all the outdoorsy active things to do. But if you’re tired out or just plain not into the exertion, there are plenty of places to treat yourself and relax while everyone else works up a sweat.
Consider pampering yourself at some of these indulgent locations.
Soothe Day Spa
Located in the Grand Lodge on Peak 7, Soothe is true to its name. It’s open year round, and has both spa and salon services, including massage, body treatments, skin care services, microdermabrasion, waxing and natural nail care. Guests can relax in the grotto, which features a salt water hot tub with waterfall, a eucalyptus infused steam room and a cedar sauna.
Blue Sage Spa
Rocky Mountain Mud Bath anyone? That’s just one of the detoxifying body treatments you can have at Blue Sage. In addition to facials, massage, manis and pedis, Blue Sage also has spray tanning, makeup, Botox, and tinting.
Mountain Sun Tanning
Tired of your winter complexion? Mountain Sun Tanning is the place to go to get that sunkissed look without the burn. Their VersaSpa perfects the popular cocktail tan (a combination of a UV tan followed by a sunless spray tan and skin treatment). No appointment is needed, and they’re open 7 days a week.
Sol Impressions Massage Studio
Their massages are called “mountain bliss” for a reason. Specializing in high-altitude relief, Sol Impressions uses aromatherapy, steam and a full body massage. Specialty massages include Tibetan Ocean Massage (physical and spiritual with energy work, pressure points, and stretching), Ashiatsu barefoot massage and Thai Yoga massage, where the therapist moves your body into a series of yoga stretches for you (my kind of Yoga!) to improve mobility and flexibility.
The Spa at Breckenridge
Located at the base of the Snowflake Chairlift, you can actually ski in and ski out of this spa. The body massages, facials, and treatments are top-notch, with a menu of well-being treatments that do everything from curing your jetlag to improving your mood.
With all these and more options for ultimate pampering, there’s no excuse for skipping the “me time” on your next visit to Lodge by The Blue.
